While motivating the city’s health-conscious people, Hyderabad 10K Run is now supporting the Mission Sports, says Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secy
HYDERABAD, Nov 2 (the CONNECT –The 18th edition of the Hyderabad 10K Run will be held on December 11 at the Necklace Road.
To be held in two categories – 10 K and 5 K – the run is expected attract at least 14,000 participants. The early bird entry fee, until November 10 is Rs 1000/- for 10K and Rs 700/- for 5K. Over 2,000 people have already registered themselves. The registration fee after November 10 will be Rs 1200 for 10k Run and Rs 800 for 5 K Run.
Though the Run is held once a year, the participants makes a good beginning by cultivating the habit of fitness, said Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Govt of Telangana. While the runs make many fit, in due course it also supports the sports community with the funds raised, he said.
What started as a non-political, non-religious activity in 2003 with the motive to create a platform for the cty’s health-conscious people the event is now supporting the "Mission Sports".
