Gopu Ramanna who set up blind school in Karimnagar and supported it is no more
KARIMNAGAR, Telangana, May 16 (The CONNECT) - Gopu Ramanna who set up blind school in Karimnagar and supported it is no more. Gopu, who worked as R & B Superintendent till 2012, helped in setting up of a Blind School in Karimnagar and also supported it till his last breath.
The grief-stricken students and teachers of Blind School in Karimnagar paid condolences to the departed soul.
The visually challenged community in Karimnagar will be indebted to him forever. Despite being a physically challenged person, he himself was in the forefront to help other Divyangs, said Ponugoti Chokka Rao, Secretary, .All India Confederation of the Blind . “We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace,” said Rao who is also the General Secretary, Development & Welfare Association of the Blind, Telangana State (DWAB)
