NMMC has built 313 public and 297 community toilers which are visible on Google search for the convenience of the people.

NAVI MUMBAI, Oct 4 (The CONNECT) - In a Swachhta Hi Seva project, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has built a toilet block for the transgender community at Kopri.

TG community citizens such as Anita Wadekar, Mira Pujari, Kalpana Pujari, Berlin and Ada Jha were present at the launch of the dedicated toilets.

They all appreciated the NMMC for this gesture.

The community is generally inconvenienced when they have to answer nature’s calls.

Realising this issue, NMMC Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar directed for toilets for the TG community at Kopri where there is a heavy concentration of these people.

NMMC has built 313 public and 297 community toilers which are visible on Google search for the convenience of the people.
