NEW DELHI, Oct 18 (The CONNECT) - On the occasion of Global Handwashing Day on October 15, Basant Goel, the owner of Pharma store Goel Medicos, organized a physical campaign in Shahadra, New Delhi, to create awareness around the adoption of hygienic habits amidst the prevailing condition of novel coronavirus.
The company team distributed free hand wash and sanitizers . The initiative got the support of the local masses that enthusiastically joined the campaign.
The team also took the opportunity to educate the public about the importance of maintaining social distance.
Goel said, “Considering that with the decline in COVID-19 cases, people have shown considerable relaxation in exercising precautionary habits. So, on the occasion of Global Handwashing Day, my team came up with the idea to conduct a campaign for handwash and sanitizer distribution where we also took the opportunity to educate the public about the other practices necessary to avoid the coronavirus.”
