The vaccination Amrit Mahotsav will be on from August 31 to September 30
NAVI MUMBAI, Aug 27 (The CONNECT) - Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has made special arrangements to administer the booter COVID vaccines during the Ganesh Utsav among the people in the age bracket of 18 years plus.
The vaccination centres at the civic hospitals and primary health centres, NMMC Commissioner Abhijit Bangar said.
The vaccination Amrit Mahotsav will be on till September 30.
The city was the first in Maharashtra to achieve the 100% double vaccination target form its adult population.
In all 13,85,585 people have taken the first dose of the vaccine and 12,43,662 the second and 1,74,141 the precautionary doses in NMMC area that covers Dighe to Belapur.
Navi Mumbai cuts into Raigad and Thane districts and the latter part is administered by the NMMC.
